Depending on the size of the vegetables, it will take you about an hour to cook. At this time, you can do herring cutting - remove the skin and bones, or, if you bought a ready-made fillet, then immediately cut into small strips. If the herring is not very salty, then you can add salt and even pepper to taste. We cut the baguette or loaf evenly and neatly on one side so that it can be “slightly opened” and removed with the spoon or hand in the bread pulp, leaving about a 1 centimeter layer. We wash the greens, shake to remove excess moisture, and finely chop. Grind the finished boiled peeled vegetables on a fine grater. In the same way we do with eggs already freed from the shell, and with cheese.

Step 2: We stuff the baguette with a fur coat.

Mix boiled ground beets with a small amount of mayonnaise, mix well and grease the inside of the French loaf. Try to apply the mixture as evenly as possible. Mix grated cheese, carrots, eggs and butter into a homogeneous mass. Add greens to it and mix. If it turns out too thick, add some mayonnaise. We spread the mixture on top of the layer of boiled beets, then we spread the cucumbers. Gherkins are ideal for the recipe, but if the cucumbers are large enough, cut them into circles. We spread cucumbers to the whole wall of the baguette, a little closer to us lay the herring fillet. Thanks to the photo will be clearer. Lubricate the cut line of the baguette with butter, close the baguette and wrap it several times with cling film.
