Cooking Waldorf Salad:

Step 1: prepare nuts, grapes and celery.


The first thing we start with is grapes. Put it in a colander and rinse under running water. Then we pour it onto a kitchen towel and leave the berries to dry, and in the meantime we turn to celery. We wash the celery stalk under running water and on a cutting board, with a sharp knife we ​​cut it across into small slices, up to 5 millimeters thick. Put the chopped greens in a bowl or a deep plate. We put clean and dry grapes on a cutting board, and cut in half, if desired, the berries can be left whole. We remove the prepared fruit to celery. Next, washed walnuts, chop with a knife or using a blender, and also lay on a plate.

Step 2: preparing a gas station.


Now prepare a dressing for our salad. To do this, wash the lemon, put it on a cutting board and cut it in half. Then squeeze the juice, about 1 tablespoon into any convenient container. To it we add mayonnaise, black pepper and salt to taste.

After that, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency.

Step 3: chop the apple.


The apple must be cut last, as it has the property of darkening. So, we wash the apple under running water, with a knife for peeling vegetables or with an ordinary one, peel it and transfer it to a cutting board. Cut in half, remove the core with seeds and cut into small slices or medium cubes.

Spread the chopped apple in a common plate.

Step 4: season the salad.


Now add the dressing.

And thoroughly mix everything with a tablespoon.

Step 5: serve Waldorf salad.


We lay out the finished salad on portioned plates and serve. For a more effective serving, you can decorate the plate with large lettuce, and then put our dish on it. As a complement, a chopped French baguette and a glass of freshly squeezed juice are suitable.

- Grapes can be replaced with raisins.
