Cooking Brandenburg Cheese Salad:

Step 1: chop the cheese.

Let's start making the salad with the main ingredient - cheese. We lay out a piece on a cutting board and cut it with sticks with small blocks of about 2 - 3 centimeters in size and about 5 millimeters thick. Cheese can also be chopped with large holes. In any case, put the prepared cheese in a deep plate or salad bowl.

Step 2: preparing a gas station.

Now prepare the dressing for our salad. In a separate plate, mix the required amount of mayonnaise, mustard, yogurt and add sugar and salt to taste. Then thoroughly mix the contents with a tablespoon until smooth.

Step 3: prepare the fruit.

Next, we wash apples, pears and lemon under running water from various contaminants, and wipe with kitchen towels. After that, put the fruits on a chopping board and proceed to cutting pears and apples, before that you can peel them if you wish. We start with a pear, cut it in half, remove the core with seeds and cut into small cubes, approximately the same as cheese. Then we shift the chopped pears into a separate clean plate and go on to chop the apples. Similarly, remove the core with seeds and cut into small cubes. As soon as we cut the apples, we lay them to the pear, and put the lemon on the cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut the citrus in half and squeeze juice from any one half, directly onto the chopped fruit. We need about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and pouring them with acid is necessary so that the fruits do not turn brown.

Step 4: prepare the almonds.

We wash almonds under running water from dust and other contaminants. Then put it in a deep plate and pour boiling water. Leave the nuts in this state for 5 minutes. Next, carefully drain the water and, after they cool down a little, we clear the skin. Then turn on the temperature of the stove to a medium level, put nuts in a pan and put on the burner. With constant stirring with a kitchen spatula, fry the almonds until golden brown, a few minutes and turn off the stove. Grind the almonds into pieces of the desired size and shape. This can be done using a rolling pin, a blender or a regular knife. Sliced almonds are transferred to a bowl of cheese.

Step 5: season the salad.

Our cheese salad is almost ready, it remains only to send the fruit to the salad bowl and season everything with pre-prepared sauce. Mix the salad with a tablespoon and you can serve the dish to the table.

Step 6: serve Brandenburg cheese salad.

Brandenburg salad is served immediately after preparation. And for a more effective serving, it can be decorated with whole nuts and lemon slices. It is pleasant to drink such a salad with freshly squeezed juices and compotes. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal! Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Cutting with cubes is not important, you can grind the ingredients as you like.

- - Almonds you can replace with any other nuts such as peanuts, hazelnuts, walnuts or cashews.

- - For those who do not like the combination of mayonnaise and fruit, then the salad can be seasoned with lemon or any other citrus juice, as well as yogurt or sour cream.
