Cooking fried pumpkin:
Step 1: Prepare the pumpkin.In order to make it easier and faster for us to fry a pumpkin, it must first be boiled. But first of all, you still need to rinse it well under cold running water and peel it. Then we cut it into small cubes (approximately 5x5 cm) and transfer to a saucepan. Top with water and send to cook over medium heat. The main thing for us to wait for the moment when it becomes slightly soft and can be removed from the fire. Then we drain the water and let the pumpkin cool at room temperature.
Step 2: Cook the batter.At this time, you can cook batter, in which we actually will fry the pumpkin. So, pour the flour into a shallow bowl, add salt, pepper, a little turmeric. Stir and start portioning to introduce, constantly stirring, cold drinking water and thus knead a slightly liquid dough (in consistency it should resemble thick sour cream).
Step 3: Cook the fried pumpkin.We put on a medium heat to heat the pan, pour vegetable oil (do not spare it, since the pumpkin will absorb everything). Pour breadcrumbs into a plate. So, we take pieces of pumpkin, dip them first on both sides in a batter, and then in breadcrumbs, then transfer to a frying pan and fry on both sides until a rosy color is formed (approximately 2-3 minutes each).
Step 4: Serve the roasted pumpkin.Ready pumpkin can be served as an appetizer for meat dishes along with sauces (ketchup for example). Enjoy your meal!
