Dietary Seaweed Salad


Ingredients for Making Dietary Seaweed Salad

  1. Sea kale (Korean; pickled) 300 g

  3. Cucumber 1 pc.
  4. 2 cloves of garlic
  5. Greens (cilantro, chives), 1 bunch
  6. Ground ginger 0.5 teaspoon. spoons
  7. Sugar 0.5 tea spoons
  8. Ground red pepper to taste
  9. Rice vinegar 2 table. spoons
  10. Sesame seeds (fried) 1 table. a spoon
  11. Soy sauce 2 table. dressing spoons

Preparation of Seaweed Diet Salad:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

If you use pickled seaweed, the marinade should be drained, and the cabbage should be washed and thrown into a colander so that the glass has excess water. If you do not rinse the cabbage, the salad may turn out to be too acidic. Korean seaweed is best. In any case, it is better to chop cabbage with a sharp knife on a cutting board. Carrots and cucumbers need to be washed with cold running water, and then peeled and grated on a coarse grater. Put the prepared vegetables in a deep plate. The cloves of garlic must be peeled and finely chopped on a cutting board with a sharp knife. Crush garlic not necessary! We wash the greens - cilantro and green onions - and then shake them several times to get rid of excess fluid. Finely chop the prepared greens on a cutting board.

Step 2: Preparing a salad dressing.

In a deep salad bowl, mix the ingredients for dressing - rice vinegar, soy sauce with low salt, sugar, red pepper, ground ginger and garlic. Beat the dressing with a fork or whisk until sugar completely will not dissolve.

Step 3: Prepare a dietary seaweed salad.

Add the prepared ingredients to the salad bowl with dressing - chopped seaweed, grated cucumber and carrots, finely chopped cilantro and green onions. Mix the salad carefully to evenly distribute the ingredients. Add the fried sesame seeds and gently shake the salad bowl. Try the dish to taste, and if any ingredients are not enough, add them. If you like the taste, it means that the dish is ready!

Step 4: Serve the ready-made dietary seaweed salad.

The finished dish is perfect for any meal - and for breakfast, and for lunch, and for dinner. The salad is very tasty and healthy, therefore it will appeal to those who follow their figure and health, but love to eat tasty food. Serve diet seaweed salad with bran bread. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Salad dressing can be replaced - sunflower oil, olive oil or the same, but with lemon juice. Experiment! It is better not to season salad with mayonnaise, so as not to reduce the usefulness of the finished dish.

- - Sesame can be fried independently. It is better to do this in a dry, but heated pan.

- - It is better to use stevia as sugar.

- - Instead of ground ginger, you can use ginger root, which you need to grate on a fine grater.

- - Salad ingredients can be replaced. Try cooking a dietary salad with white cabbage and bell peppers as well.
