Cooking bream baked with cabbage:

Step 1: Prepare the fish.

First of all, we need to clean the fish from scales. To do this, take a sharp knife and, starting from the tail, with quick movements scrape the scales against growth. Then we cut the abdomen along from the head to the anal fin and pull out the insides. The tail, fins and head can be left or removed as desired. Then I wash the bream well under cold running water, and then rub it inside and on top with salt, pepper and special seasoning.

Step 2: Prepare the filling for the bream.

Peel the onion from the husk, wash and finely chop. We put on a medium heat to heat the pan, pour a little vegetable oil and spread the onion to fry. As soon as it becomes transparent, add sauerkraut to the pan, mix and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Cool the prepared filling at room temperature.

Step 3: Cook the bream baked with cabbage.

Set the oven to heat. 200 degrees. Stuff salted fish with cabbage, and sew the incision on the abdomen with a thread or simply stab with toothpicks. Then we wrap it in foil, put it on a baking sheet and send it to bake in the oven 30 minutes. Then we take out the baking sheet from the oven, carefully open the foil and grease the bream with mayonnaise, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs on top, close the foil back. We send to the oven, reduce the temperature up to 180 degrees and bake more half an hour.

Step 4: Serve the bream baked with cabbage.

Cool the finished bream slightly, then remove from the foil, free from threads and cut into portioned slices. Transfer them to a serving dish and decorate the fish with parsley leaves. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - You can cook bream with fresh cabbage. But then it will need to be put out for 10-15 minutes longer.

- - I warn you right away, the bream is a bony fish, and in order not to play with the bones later, just grab and make deep cuts on the raw fish across the ridge. And then when baking all the small bones shrink.

- - To enhance the taste, hot fish can be lightly sprinkled with lemon juice.
