The ingredients for the preparation of pies "Tender"

For the test we need:

  1. Premium wheat flour 800 gr.
  2. Dry yeast 40 gr.
  3. Salt 2 tsp
  4. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  5. Chicken egg 1 pc.
  6. Margarine (or butter) 50 gr.

For the filling we need:

  1. Potato 1 kg.
  2. Onion 1 pc.
  3. Chicken egg 1 pc.
  4. Milk (any fat content) 50 ml.

For frying, we need:

  1. Vegetable oil 1 cup

Cooking pies "Tender":

Step 1: Cook the dough.

Yeast Dissolve in 200 ml. warm water and add the same 1 teaspoon of sugar. Leave this mixture until foam appears on the surface of the yeast. Next, in a deep container (for example, a bowl), sift the flour and mix it with salt. In the middle of the flour we make a deepening and pour the yeast into it. Next, drive an egg into the mass and add the melted margarine (or butter). After that, knead the dough with a spoon. During this process, add a little chilled water and knead until a homogeneous mass becomes like thick sour cream. Cover it and set it in a warm place. at 30 minutes for it to come up and rise. After that, mix it again and set it again to rise to a warm place 20-30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

Peel the potatoes, after which they are thoroughly washed with water. Cut each tuber into 4-6 parts depending on the size of the potato and put it in a pan. Fill with water so that the liquid completely covers the potatoes and put the container on fire. When the water boils, add a little salt and continue to cook the potatoes until fully cooked. Depending on the variety, this will take from 15 to 30 minutes. In the finished form, it should be easily pierced and even a little fall apart. After that, drain the liquid and turn the mashed potatoes into a mashed potato using a special pusher (or in a blender). At the same time we add to it 50 ml milk (can be replaced with liquid cream), drive 1 egg into the potatoes, pray and pepper to taste and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Peel the onion, rinse, and then cut into small cubes. Fry the onion in a pan in vegetable oil until golden brown. Ready mix onion with mashed potatoes.

Step 3: We form and fry products.

We carefully lubricate the working surface of the table and hands with vegetable oil. We spread the dough out of a bowl and divide it into small pieces. Next, we flatten each piece of dough with our hands into cakes, put potato filling in its middle and pinch the pie. Fry products in a pan in preheated vegetable oil at both sides to a golden blush. This will take an average of several minutes.

Step 4: Serve the Tender Pies.
