Cooking a la dumplings:

Onions and herbs need to be washed with running water and chopped - all this we will need in order to make minced meat even more flavorful. Therefore, we chop the onions or chop them in a blender, and we take the greens apart by leaflets and finely cut with a knife, you can cut it with scissors. Now we will combine all the listed ingredients, add salt and spices to taste and get an excellent aromatic forcemeat for lazy dumplings.

Step 2: Prepare the sauce for a la dumplings.

Why should you start by making the sauce? Because in it we will put out our lazy dumplings, and in order not to be distracted by cooking it later, we better do it right away, especially since it takes only 2-3 minutes. In a deep plate, mix sour cream and tomato paste, add salt and spices to taste. The sauce is too thick, so you need to dilute it with broth or just hot water. Mix the sauce with a fork, whisking slightly and set aside, as it is already ready!

Step 3: Cook a la dumplings.

Now the fun begins. We get the pita and deploy it to full length. Using a spoon, grease it evenly with minced meat on all sides. Then we roll the pita bread with a straw and wait a couple of minutes for it to soak and become softer. It is after this that it will be very easy to cut into small circles - dumplings. We grease the pan or the stewpan with vegetable oil so that a la dumplings do not burn, and then we spread them tightly to each other, with the place of the cut down. Pour the lazy dumplings with sour cream and tomato sauce and put the stewpan on the burner turned on. Reduce the fire to slow, cover the stewpan with a lid and simmer the dumplings for 25 minutes, then turn off the stove and let the dish stand for another 10 minutes under the lid. Do not look under the lid, so as not to release heat!

Step 4: Serve the finished a la dumplings.

This wonderful dish does not need additional sauces or spices - it already has everything! Serve it hot, gently removing the lazy dumplings so that they do not fall apart. You can sprinkle the finished dumplings with grated cheese, or you can immediately begin the tasting. In any case - Bon appetit!

Recipe Tips:

- - You can add a little garlic to the mince for more spice. Or give it a more delicate creamy taste and lightly fix with a pulp of white bread soaked in cream or milk.

- - Sour cream and tomato sauce for a la dumplings can be replaced with sour cream and garlic or another one that you like best.
