Cheese Flan Ingredients

Cooking Cheese Flan:

Step 1: Prepare the mixture for the flan.

Mix the eggs with cottage cheese, it is best to use a mixer in this case, this will save a lot of your time. Pour the milk into a saucepan, put on medium heat and heat a little. Make sure that milk does not boil. Then pour sugar into it and stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Now mix milk and egg-cheese mixture, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency.

Step 2: Cook the caramel.

Pour granulated sugar onto a dry preheated pan, stir over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved, then remove from heat and add a couple tablespoons of cold, clean water. Mix thoroughly and cool slightly. Then pour the caramel into the portioned pan molds and let it cool completely and harden. The caramel layer should completely cover the bottom of the mold.

Step 3: Bake the cheese flan.

Now pour on the hardened caramel, the prepared mass. It is important to fill out the form not to the very edge, otherwise during baking it will rise and go beyond the edges and the flan will lose shape. Now preheat the oven up to 140-160 degrees. Pour water into the tray and place the flan molds on it, place in the oven and bake for about 1 houruntil the flan is ready.

Step 4: Serve the cheese flan.

Now remove the pan with the flan from the oven and let it cool slightly. In order to remove it from the mold, very carefully draw the edge of the knife along the edges of the mold and turn it over onto a serving plate. Serve the cheese flan, it is best warm or cold to the festive or dining table, as a dessert. Good appetite!
